The course objective is to transform software and AI engineers into legal engineers — professionals capable of constructing AI solutions for legal tasks such as eDiscovery, document review, and investigations.

During the two-day session, participants construct a complete core stack: they ingest and extract complex real-world legal data, implement search and retrieval mechanisms, integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with source citations, ensure privacy through local models, and demonstrate defensibility. The course also covers running auditable AI reviews using court-admissible metrics and packaging the solution for deployment.

• Encode business, security, and compliance constraints (GDPR, EU AI Act, sector standards) directly into prompts.

• Define sustainable governance frameworks: Prompt Curator role, naming conventions, versioning, quality metrics.
• Leave with concrete deliverables: Library v1.0, Governance Charter, 30-Day Deployment Plan.
