Module 2: Communication and Feedback

  • Everything that needs to be known about communication

  • The importance of asking questions and active listening

  • Communication without aggression

  • How to give clear expectations and set boundaries?

  • Formulating effective managerial questions

  • Transforming aggressive or accusatory messages into constructive communication

Module 3: Psychological Safety and Trust

  • How to build a sense of belonging and trust in the team?

  • What is the leader's task in building a cohesive and active team?

Module 4: Critical Thinking and Decision-Making

Module 5: Motivation and Delegation

Practical finale: "The Managerial Case"

At the end of the course, participants will work on a comprehensive managerial scenario that combines several of the skills covered.

The case may include:

  • an employee with low motivation;

  • a conflict in the team;

  • divergent opinions on an important decision;

  • the need to give tough feedback;

  • a task that needs to be delegated.

Participants will analyze the situation, determine an approach, conduct a conversation, and make a decision, applying what they have learned throughout the day.

Course outcome

By the end of the course, participants will not only understand the concepts of emotional intelligence, communication, psychological safety, critical thinking, motivation, and delegation. They will have applied them in practical managerial situations and will have specific approaches that they can use in their daily work as managers.

Requirements

There are no requirements for prior education or specialized training.

It is preferred that participants have practical experience working with people or performing management functions.
